A Single stage Trickling Filter plant with relatively good quality water for a trickling filter facility.
Operator Ray Meyers has not needed to remove the modules from the channel for sleeve cleaning. The WEDECO Wiper has kept the sleeve clean and the lamp life is as offered during the design stage of 12,000 hours. This system started in fall of 2000 and only in the summer of 2002 has lamps being changed.
A unique option ONLY avalable from WEDECO is an effluent flow meter on the downward opening gate assembly. An inexpensive option for the flow meter for state reporting of flow data.
Monthly analysis for fecal is routinely <50 fecal/100 ml.
