Recirculating Sand Filter Technologies
WWTP for small communities and developments for sewage treatment facilities.

Recirculation is essentially pumping wastewater into a sand bed that is compete with biomass that will adsorb the organics.  80% of the pumped flow into the filters is returned to the recirculation tank.

Receiving Septic Tank and recicrulation tank from collection system.

Septic tank at central location eliminates need for septic tanks at homes.  Septic tank will receive sewage and then overflow the tank into the recirculation tank for treatment.

Each cell has a dedicated pump for treatment.  Pump cycles 5 minutes per 30 minutes for treatment.  Effluent from the filter cells then recirculates 80% back to the recirc tank and discharges 20% for disinfection and discharge to stream.
