Project was originally bid as a design/bid/build project however pricing drove the project costs signicantly over budget.  The project was repackaged in that the city procurred all of the major capital equipment for contractor installation.  This proceedure saved over $400,000 which some could be determined from the slight electrical design.

The DHV APPROVED aerator from Spaans Babcock is truely an innovation for the vertical aerator marketplace.  As most installations have huge HP and energy limiting installations since the aerator has dual duty conditions. 

First duty is the mixing and the second is aeration.  Since the aerator provides 15% increased aeration per HP versus the previous blade, then we can provide VFD drives to improve mixing and energy conservation.

EnviroDyne Systems Inc provides a complete package for aeration equipment, clarifiers, and submersible mixers for anoxic/anaerobic basins for nutrient removal.
